2 day "Make a Greenwood Stool"
at CardiShed, Cardigan
£185
15th and 16th April                 2 places available
This two day course is a great introduction to green woodwork methods.
Students will be shown the process of working freshly felled ash to make stool legs. You will use a variety of traditional hand tool techniques, including sawing and cleaving, working the legs with a draw knife and using a shave horse. A choice of timber is available for the stool tops. All the timber is sourced locally from sustainably managed woodlands.

Students are required to wear sturdy boots and outdoor clothes, and bring a packed lunch.
The day runs from 10-5. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available all day from CardiShed for a small donation.
Courses fee paid in advance to reserve a place. Full refund for cancellation up to two weeks in advance.
