This one day course is an opportunity to spend the day learning the ancient craft of Pole Lathe Turning. The incredibly enjoyable and therapeutic process of turning green wood into functional items.

By learning how to use a variety of gouges you will turn a roughed out 'blank' or 'billet' into finished projects such as a rolling pin, garden dibber or tool handles.  

​Students are required to wear sturdy boots and outdoor clothes, and bring a packed lunch.
The day runs from 10-5. 
Course fee paid in advance to reserve a place. Full refund for cancellation up to two weeks in advance.
